LOVE this refrigerator magnet idea!

I saw this idea last month while flipping through a mazazine in a waiting room. What an amazing idea! All you need is a pretty tea tin or two- just put a powerful magnet inside and you have a unique pen-holder right on your fridge. Since I am the queen of pen-losers, this is the PERFECT idea.

Ever since I read the article I've tried finding tins that would work and were pretty, too, and haven't had any luck. So in the meantime, I'll just keep losing my pens.

  3. I LOVE this idea! When I was a kid, my mom gave me some of her old spice tins to play with in my play kitchen. I still associate the smell of cloves with that old play kitchen. We must have thrown them out years ago, because they weren't in the boxes of play food we found inside the play kitchen when my folks dragged it out the garage for my daughter to play with. I wish we still had them - they'd be perfect for this project!

  14. I have that Leone tin - got it at Eataly in Manhattan, I heard they're opening one in Chicago as well. Also have a collection of very similar tea tins I got from Pearl River in Manhattan - maybe they're on their website? Otherwise try Chinatown.
