Pretty mail and a special sneak peek!

Yes, I'm going to call a garbage can pretty. I got it in the mail today from moxiethrift and it's so perfectly retro! I'm going to use it for my fabric scraps, which quickly overflow the other container I've been using.

And now for a sneak peek of something new coming soon (hopefully!) to ponder and stitch!

I think it's about time I bring some textile necklaces to the shop. This vintage fabric strand pendant necklace is soooo dainty at about 1.5 inches long.

I'm perfecting some different styles, and hope to bring a handful of necklaces to the shop soon. And with that, I must leave you for dinner. Some realllly good sauteed zucchini and mushrooms are calling my name right now. :)

Have a good night!

  4. Thanks guys! Erin, it's not really a recipe at all. :D I just saute a couple sliced zucchinis in olive oil and season them with garlic salt and pepper after they've gotten a little color. Then I sprinkle parmesan cheese on them while they cook, and they get nice and brown and crisp. I do the same with the mushrooms, but in a different pan and mix them together when they're both done. :) I guess I could cook them together but I've found it works best this way. Minus the extra pan to wash. lol

  11. Thanks for sharing your "recipe"! :) I bought some zucchini and some canned mushrooms and I'm going to try it (probably won't be as good as yours with fresh mushrooms). Mmmm...I love Parmesan cheese on anything!

  15. I love the necklace and the garbage can! Doesn't it remind you of the Richard Scarry playset? You know, the flooring.
