You know what I miss?

Having a fireplace. I really, really miss my fireplace. I'm cold- really, really cold.

Photo from here. Also, I really love this one.

  1. I thought Las Vegas was the only place that sold houses without fire places! We solved our problem with an electric fireplace :)

Actually, we have one but it's not operable. Even worse! :P

  3. When we leave this apartment, a fireplace and garden tubs (b/c we have huge tubs now, and I'm totally spoiled) are top of the list!

  4. If I could change one thing about my house, I would add a fireplace. So cozy.

  6. Our first house had a fireplace and there are times, for example this week, when I do miss it.

  7. I miss having a fire place too! I had a working wood-burning fire place in CALIFORNIA of all places! GAH!

  8. I am just not sure how you would start a fire with all that wood stacked in there. lol
I recently moved to northern Florida and right now it's 40 degrees. It's been fairly cold here this winter even dropping to 25F. if I had a fireplace I could be saving a lot of money since we are using the heat so much!

    Stay warm!

  9. we just recently bought a vintage home and fire place was on our wish list, but the homes that had them were 100K more, so we bought a beautiful home- but no FP... wish we had one.... but maybe someday we can add a room addition with one and it certainly will be less than 100K.
