Winter be gone! (Please?)

It snowed over 2 feet last night and left snowdrifts taller than me. The photo above is the view from my back step. I had to dig out a path to get to my detached garage. Here's a view of the path from the other direction:

This is before I started shoveling:

This is the current state of my driveway:

That snow goes about up to my neck at the highest point. I have absolutely no idea how I'm getting to work tomorrow. Winter be gone!

P.S. Make sure to enter the giveaway below if you haven't done so! :)

  1. I think it was like 1982 when the last snow like this happened as a kid in Illinois.
It made great caves and igloos

  2. WOW! That is an incredible amount of snow! That one photo of you is funny. Until I clicked it to get a better look, I thought the "C" on your hat was your eye. I thought the orange stripe were some seriously red cheeks... and then I thought maybe it was a snowman until I got a look at the bigger photo :)

  8. We had a snow day today too but nothing compared to yours. We seemed to be favourably located on the shores of Lake Ontario. Here's wishing you a second snow day tomorrow.

  12. Haha okay I thought the snow we got was getting a bit ridiculous but you win. But with the wind we are getting tonight I don't suspect we will be able to get out of our very long driveway tomorrow.
