How cool is this?!

It's typewriter art! Keira Rathbone uses typewriters instead of brushes or pencils. I think this is amazing!

See more here.

P.S. I slipped on some ice in a parking lot a few days ago and took an awful spill. I'm sitting here with a broken tailbone and don't look forward to standing up when I'm done posting this. OUCH doesn't even begin to describe it!!

  2. I feel your pain! I slid off a skateboard as a kid (was sitting on it) and bruised my tailbone good. Sat on pillows for days. About 15 years later I had problems with it again. Hoping you heal for good. Take care!

  3. Oh my I'm so sorry you bit it on the ice! Broke your tailbone?!?! Yikes! Reminds me when I was walking my akita a few years ago and we hit an ice patch, we both slipped only I fell and she did't. I wasn't hurt though... sorry you were =(

  5. Ooh! I'm so sorry about the tailbone. It's killer - I did it a few years back and, let's just say, you'll become best friends with your doughnut pillow. :) Take care and milk it.

  9. Long story short, Amy has heard for all of her life, the story of how SHE repaired my tailbone on her way OUT!!! Yep, I took a hard fall as a preteen down the stairs and sat on the donut pillow for a month. While pregnant with Miss Amy, 7ms along, that injury was like BRAND new again. I couldn't sit or stand up without holding it in place and going soooo slow!!! She was resting on a healed in the wrong direction tailbone!! Little did I know that the only way to fix it was to have her straighten it out for me on her birthday! Man did that ever hurt!!
But I'm good now!! Thanks, Ame!
P.S. You should have been a chiropractor.

  10. P.S. I LOVE the typewriter art, too. Paul Smith, now passed, was the BEST at this. A true pioneer in the field and he was handicapped.
    Have a look and cry!!

  13. Eek - I totally feel for you and your aching tail bone!

I either broke or fractured mine a couple of years ago when I tried snowboarding for the first time. I was in pain for many months after (sitting on hard chairs in class was NOT fun) - Needless to say, I have since happily switched to skiing!

I guess that's why they make those cute little doughnut pillows ~:o) Hope you mend fast!
