Thrift store score!

I don't think I ever wrote about these when I bought them from the thrift store a while back. I got a nice old set of 55 dominoes in their original wooden box.

They are really heavy and thick and make the most perfect noise when they clink together.

Julia actually taught me how to play, because I had never REALLY played before. It's so fun! Have you found anything good at the thrift store lately?

  2. That's a great score. You can play or upcycle them into pendants.

  3. I got a wonderful mid-century dining room buffet for $45. What a steal. I wanna go thrifting today just thinking of it.

  5. Cool, those look similar to the ones I use for pendants!
The last great score I thrifted was a Stetson Chevron hat (retail $165) that I snagged for $10 at a Goodwill. Oh yeh.

  6. what a great find! I've never played before either but I would likely want to display them, maybe on a wall in a shadow box (I've got a thing for displaying interesting things in shadow boxes!) :)
