Well, it took us almost 11 hours...

...but let it be known that at 4:30 pm central time on Sunday, August 8th, Julia and I finished the Lego project of the century. I think it tried to kill us at least three times (well, maybe just me). This is the cutest VW bug ever. It was hard. Very hard.

**how much do you want to bet that we wake up tomorrow morning and the cats have somehow destroyed it?!

  2. That's awesome! Did you come up with the pattern yourself or did you find the instructions and pieces in a kit? I'm really tempted to make a Mini Cooper now!

  3. That. Is. Amazing! I'm so impressed. They've come a long way since my now 20 year old was obsessed with Legos. I think I would encase it - just in case. No pun. :)
