Look what I got!

I was so excited to get home today and see a box on my front porch. I got my book sculpture from Book of Art! This really is so much more amazing than the photographs can convey. I could stare at it for hours and not get bored. Seriously! I can't wait to find the perfect place to display this true work of paper art.

  5. I've been sitting here wondering 2 things...

    1. How does one enjoy Pumpkin Seeds? Are they like Sunflower Seeds?

    2. How in the world do you fold a book all crazy like that and only charge $8!? It's insane, mind boggling! I can't even make simple oragami paper cranes!

  9. That's awesome! Silly question, does the book close and then you can open and re-adjust the pages so it reads correctly?

  10. craftydill- actually the book doesn't close! I thought it would..it closes a teeny bit but with all those extra folds the book pages are too thick for it to close!

  19. Just curious as to what book the artist used? Not that anyone will ever see the spine again, mind you!

  20. cake- the book used was "The Shadow of Blooming Grove: Warren G. Harding in His Times"...I don't feel too bad about making this particular book unreadable, lol...
