Fog

I just snapped these photos of my very foggy surroundings (though it seems much foggier in person!). The first photo was taken in my backyard and the second one was taken from my second-story porch. I loved fog when I was little. Remember those days waking up and looking outside and not being able to see through it? It made everything look so dreamy, and it still does. This is the type of morning I just want to stay home with a warm blanket and some tea and a good book. But, nope! It's off to work for me. Have a lovely day, all!

  1. pretty. It looked like this out my window this morning too. Tea while snuggling in a blanket sounds much better than work to me too:)

  6. That's pretty. . . unfortunately the only time I see fog is when I'm driving. Not the best time to appreciate it!

I think the top photo is my favorite. Very ethereal.

  7. Oh, how beautiful! I love fog, too. I remember when I lived in Scotland we would have the most epic fogs (the Scots refer to them as "the haar", which is a term for a thick fog that forms over the North Sea and moves onto land)...strangely I miss them!

  8. Foggy mornings here, too. With the small lake out back, it really adds to the mystery. I'm one of the lucky ones...I stay home now and get to experience it all.
    Living it up at Lakewood,

  13. We get some heavy fog here in the "bowl" as they call our neighborhood. I love the way it looks--as long as I don't have to drive in it. Kinda like snow for me.

  14. I love fog as well! Haha, sometimes my husband will call me on his way to work and say, "it's really foggy outside! You should walk over to the cemetery and take pictures!" I'm never awake enough to do it, though... so I'm hoping for a foggy weekend some time when I can get some good pictures!

  16. That is so beautiful. The field across the street looks that way sometimes in the morning, but my camera never seems to do it justice.
