My beautiful rocks from sivylla came today. Oh my goodness. I'm telling you, these photos don't do them justice. And, yes, I may be the only girl to do an entire post about rocks. But they are so very lovely and not of this place. We just don't have rocks like this in the US- well, not in Illinois. They are so very white and round and smooth. They were freshly chosen straight from the Ionian sea and I am so lucky to have them. A bit of Greece is now sitting here before me and I am in awe.
That sounds so nice ~~ a bit of Greece ~~

ReplyDeleteooh. i wanted so badly to go to Greece for our honeymoon. We had Greek food for the rehearsal dinner; it is my absolute FAVORITE!! These are just beautiful. Lovely post.
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely...when I first looked at the photo I was trying to work out if they were bird's eggs, they are so sleek and smooth! How lovely to have a little bit of Greece...I've always dreamed of going there. :)
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful, and how nice to think of how far they've traveled.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm with you on this one; those rocks are awesome! Great find!
ReplyDeleteOooh, they remind me of my honeymoon! We went to the greek island Santorini, which is where most of the greek photos of the little white houses with blue doors are taken, and the beaches were just full of rocks like that! I want to go again!

ReplyDeleteOoh, those look like they'd be fun to touch! I completely understand the appeal. :) We definitely don't have any rocks like that around here.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh..how lovely! I used stones with handwritten names as name cards at my wedding and oh how I would have died if I had these!
ReplyDeleteThey make me calm just at a glance: I bet they feel amazing nearby!!
ReplyDeleteAmy i love your photos!!!! I fell in love with the pebbles again, they look like they're sculptured in your blue porcelain bowl and the lighting is so perfect, it makes them look even more pretty.
